Two stalks of asparaguses are growing in my garden.
I was surprised to see it by chance, yesterday.
Because, I thought it had died, long before.
I bought it at gardening shop, two years ago, if I remember right.
The stalk is really spindly.
It looks like a stick.
It may fall down at any minute in the wind .
I must learn that right away, since I don't know well how to grow it yet.

庭に、アスパラガスが育っている。
昨日、偶然、見つけてびっくりした。
というのも、とっくの昔に、枯れたと思っていたからだ。
記憶に間違いがなければ、2年前に、園芸店で買った。
茎が実にひょろ長い。
1本の棒のように見える。
風に吹かれて、今にも倒れそうだ。
これの育て方をよく知らないので、急いで勉強しないと!

This is a Japanese pepper tree.
Though it is too small to call "tree"
There are a few Japanese pepper trees, elsewhere in my garden.
I like a nice smell of that.

これは山椒。
木というにはあまりにちいさいけれども。
庭のあちこちに数本育っている。
このにおいが好きだ。

Hi! Kura-san
Splendid is a vitality of asparagus.
If you have noticed it a little earlier, you might have eaten one stem at least.
Oh, you missed it! (It's joke.)
We eat a part of a young stem appearing from soil as a vegetable, which is asparagus shoots.
Delicious is a thing in season, which is used as side-salad of cooking and so on.
I like it.
You should transplant it in rich soil for the next year!

Hi! Avenue-san
Wow!
I missed a chance to eat it, didn't I?
I 'm sorry I can't eat!
I couldn't notice it because the asparagus resembled green supports next to it in color, moreover, I hadn't any longer interest in it.
By the way,
Can I ask a question?
There are two sentences, which you mentioned above.
That is, "Splendid is a vitality of asparagus"
"Delicious is a thing in season"
Are those sentences called inversion(倒置法)in grammar?
Thanks.

Is my sentence right?
As is expected, it is an inverted sentence, I guess.
So attractive was an inversion that I used it in my sentence.
→An inversion was so attractive that I used it in my sentence.
But, so difficult is English grammar that I have a hard time very much.

Do you understand me? I understand you. (laugh...)
Anyway, great is your asparagus coming up two years later!
Oh, sorry, u-mmm, I do not understand what I say. :-<

I understood what you said.
An inversion was so attractive, wasn't it?
First, I couldn't understand well the sentence you wrote.
I looked over the laws of grammar by my reference.
There were two example sentences.
(補語+V+S)
◎Handsome is that handsome does →Handsome is he who does.
handsomely.
◎Such(So great )was his surprise that he could not move at all.
Is that right?

Thank you very much to you.
I could understand the importance of the inversion.
I will make a sentence by using it ,someday.
