Red peppers are growing well.
I have been watching against worm's attack every day since that day.
I have checked many times whether there are no worms.
It may be necessary mothball not insecticide
Anyway
I am going to harvest them, soon.

とうがらしがよく育っている。
あの日以来、毎日、虫の攻撃に対して、見張りを続けてきた。
何度も虫がいないかどうか調べた。
殺虫剤でなく防虫剤が必要かもしれない。
とにかく
近いうちに、収穫する予定です。

Hi! Kura-san
Is this Manganji you bought on April 25?
It grows big so much in only more than 2 months, doesn't it?
You say this is a red pepper, but it looks like a green pepper now.
Is this hot or sweet?
Either way, you have continued taking care in order to keep worms away from it every day, without using the repellent.
That's great. You are attached to your vegetable, I think.

Hi! G clef-san
Wow!
Sorry.
I made a mistake.
×the repellent→○the mothball(防虫剤)

Exactly.
This is Manganji I bought on April 25th.
I used the word "red pepper" because its color changes from green to red in autumn.
Is that right?
It is probable that it will be sweet.
Thanks

PS
I usually call the name of capsicum, トウガラシ, by the type as follows.
Hot (as spices)
・Red pepper, 赤唐辛子類, is used in cooking to give a hot flavor to food, which produces a burning feeling in our mouth.

Sweet (as vegetable)
・Green pepper, シシトウ類, is eaten as a vegetable.
The fruit is slim like a red pepper, and the color seems to change from green to red when we leave it without harvesting it.
・Bell pepper, ピーマン類, is the large mild hollow fruit, and colors include red, green, yellow, orange and so on, and eaten as a vegetable.
And you?

According to your explanation
I t seems to be better to use “green pepper” or “capsicum”

In this connection. I also looked up the words in my dictionary

○by ジ−ニアス和英辞典
トウガラシ→ red pepper
cayenne→ 粉末トウガラシ

○by ジーニアス 大和英インデックス
トウガラシ→capsicum
Cay・ence pepper, hot pepper、red pepper

○byリーダーズ英和辞典
green pepper→熟して赤くなる前のピーマン sweet pepper
bell pepper→(特にピーマン)
capsicum→ とうがらし属の各種茄子科唐辛子(香辛料、整腸剤 劇薬)
red pepper→ 赤唐辛子
(cayenne pepper)

○ by LONGMAN AMERICAN DICTIONARY
Green pepper →a vegetable with green flesh and white seeds, that you can
Cook or eat raw.

Red pepper
1 a red vegetable that you can eat raw or use in cooking.
2 a SPICY red powder used in cooking; CAYENNE PEPPER

○by Wikipedia
The fruit of Capsicum plants have a variety of names depending on place and type. They are commonly called chili pepper, red or green pepper, or just pepper in Britain and the US; the large mild form is called bell pepper in the US, capsicum in Australian English and Indian English, and paprika in some other countries (although paprika can also refer to the powdered spice made from various capsicum fruit).

Wooooow!!! That's a good job!
In the first place, where is a word "ピーマン" from? Don't you think so?
It was kind of interesting that I couldn't find a word "ピーマン"
To my surprise, Wikipedia says it comes from piment (in French) or pimiento(in Spanish).
Manganji is delicious yet difficult as the same time, isn't it? (laugh)

There are a lot of interesting expression among English words, aren’t there?
For example, bell pepper!
It looks like the bell of church in shape.
When I first knew the words, I burst out laughing in spite of myself.
It seems to be unforgettable word for me.
By the way
I couldn't understand a little the following sentence
"Manganji is delicious yet difficult as the same time,"
Thanks.

シシトウの中で万願寺と言う種類は大きくておいしいのを始めて知りました。
万願寺トウガラシのトウガラシを辞書で引くと red pepperとなり、唐辛子capsicumを検索するとコロンブス、メキシコまで話が広がるくらい奥が深い。
それを・・ because its color changes from green to red in autumn.
とさらりと書かれたので Gee!!!
大真面目な“振り”をして突っ込んでいったわけです。m(__)m

そうすると大真面目なコメントが帰ってきたのと時間帯を見てびっくり。

Manganji is delicious yet difficult as the same time, isn't it?
(万願寺はおいしいけれど同時に難しいですね)となりました。
実際この文章だけでは意味不明で笑えないと思います。
お騒がせしました(ぺこり)。
例として
He drove quickly yet safly.
(スピードを出したが安全運転だった。)
She is old yet beautiful at the same time.
(老いているけれど同時に美しい。)
(yet けれども、それにもかかわらず)
G clef

difficult as the same time→ difficult at the same time
G clef

なるほど。
よくわかりました。
yetの使い方がわからなかったようです。
手元にある辞書(リーダーズ英和辞典)で調べたら、次のような例文がありました。多分、同じ使い方のyetだと思うのですが。

・a strange yet true story.
・He ran at full speed to the station yet he missed the train.
・He tried hard, yet he could not succeed.

英語の世界の奥深さに、いまさらながら、驚きます。
今回もいろいろ教えていただき、ありがとうございました。
