It was really regrettable 　くやしい！

Wow!
Ripe and red tomato has been eaten by a dove, this morning!
As soon as I enter into vegetables garden, one dove flew off beating its wings.
It must be the true criminal which ate the tomato.
It seemed to be broken through a bit space of a net.
It was really regrettable that tomato was eaten. despite of my　taking precautions against birds.

ワォ～。
今朝、熟れた赤いトマトが鳩に食べられてしまった。
菜園に入るや否や、一羽の鳩がバタバタと飛び去った。
これがトマトを食べた真犯人に違いない。
ネットのわずかな隙間から入ったらしい。
鳥に対し防備していたにもかかわらず、トマトが食べられたことは実にくやしい。

I strengthened the defense against birds more by using thing like bamboo broom

竹箒のようなものを使って、より一層、鳥対策を厳重にした。

I am going to wrap corn fruits with plastic bags to protect them from birds

鳥対策として、トウモロコシの実にビニル袋をかぶせるつもり。

Okra fruit grew well enough to gather.
I want to gather more fruits for cooking.

オクラが収穫するにはよい大きさに育った。
料理のために、もっとたくさん収穫したい。

I will be able to gather a lot of eggplants, next week.

来週、たくさんの茄子を収穫できるだろう。

ほとんどの野菜の収穫は順調に行っていますね。トマトは鳥に少しやられましたか、とうもろこしにはビニールをかぶせましたか、私は作ったことは無いですが、厚さで中が群れないように気をつけてください。一緒にやっている方は昨年は蒸れてしまい失敗したことを思い出しました。とうもろこしの数ですがじっくり数えました。約２０センチの長さで６００個ありました。１８列、これは必ず偶数になるようです。	野次喜多日記 2008/07/13 17:34

Hi Kura-san!!! I can understand your feeling well. It is the bad crow to eat the tomato which you take care of carefully, isn't it? My friend said that it was eaten a watermelon by a crow. You harvest a lot of good vegetables. Take care.	hiro 2008/07/14 10:49
Hi! hiro-san The bird which ate my tomato seemed to be a dove not a crow, though it was trivial matter (laugh) The crow seemed to eat the watermelon which your friend grew, didn’t it ? A crow has often come by my vegetable garden. I thought that I have to take precautions against crows, too. Thanks.	kura 2008/07/14 16:11
