Sagawa Art Museum

Fri/18/May/fine

I dropped in at" Sagawa Art Museum", Shiga prefecture, on my way to Ontake, on the 10th of May.
Unfortunately. It was raining that day. What’s more, the strong wind was blowing.
I felt blue because of bad weather, on the first day of my trip .

One of the feature of the exhibit was Ando Hiroshige's works, the painter of Japanese woodblock print,
There were a lot of interesting works.
Especially,
I was interest in his works which drew skillfully with a writing brush the detail of human’s movement.

I also have called at Sagawa Art museum about a few weeks ago. Regrettably it was raining too. However, I thought the garden of the museum surrounding by a pond seems to be suited for rainy day...

Hiroshige’s works were very interesting. While I was watching his works, I felt as if I had been transported through time to the Edo period and traveling with Yaji san and Kita san...

Anyway, thank you for sharing your story with us!!! I really enjoy reading, Kura san!
