Old rookie オールドルーキー

I have been enjoying watching Major League Baseball games on TV, as I did house work.
Lately, I have interested in one Japanese ball player.
It was Masumi kuwata (桑田 真澄)who came on as a rookie of Pittsburgh Pirates of Major League Baseball,this year.

He is thirty-nine years old,now.
In spite of old ages as ball player, he went to the United States of America,. having a dream of becoming a major leaguer
What a splendid story!
Don’t you think so?

Moreover, he seems to be very　modest man , as far as I know by TV
I had a good feeling to him.

家事をしながら　大リーグのテレビ放送を楽しんできた。
最近、日本の一人の野球選手に興味を持った。
ピッツバーグのパイレーツ球団のルーキーとして現れた桑田真澄だ。

彼は現在３９歳である。
野球選手として老齢にもかかわらず、彼はメジャーリーガーになる夢を持って
アメリカに来たのだ。
なんと、素晴らしい話ではないか。
そう、思いませんか。
さらに、彼はテレビで知る限り、とても謙虚な人である。
この点でも、好感を持った。

All Japanese who transferred to the Major Leagues is cool, isn't it?
Each player has his own individual policy.
Masumi kuwata favorably compare with other Japanese because his mind is under twenty years old, I think.
During a game, they look a samurai-like face.
