The study of English is difficult

The study of English is difficult for me.
For example.I do not know the difference beween "a"and "the".
So,I am puzzled as to which to choose.
But When I watched on a television program by the NHK, yesterday .
I could understand a little.
Besides, I havemany exercise I should do .
I will try harder in future.
