A bent cucumber

I went to the community farm in the afternoon.
Altough I need not go there .
A lot of cucumbers are bent.
okra, too.
What was the cause ?
The lack of water?
(No, I have ever been giving it everyday.)
They became older?
(It might be correct answer.)
To tell the truth, I do not know about the cause
